French Bowling Sport: "Petanque"

Pétanque is a kind of bowling sport. The game evolved early 1900 from an old French bowl game (la boule Provencale).

Petanque players or teams toss their boules/balls towards a target ball. The objective is to score points by having boules closer to the target than the opponent after all boules have been thrown.

The aim of the game is to be the first player/team to score thirteen points. Points are scored by having one or more of your boules closer to the target than those of your opponent, after all boules have been thrown.
