Icelandic Board Game: "Hnefatafl"

This Icelandic strategy game, called "hnefatafl," is sometimes referred to as Viking chess. The game has been played since medieval times in Scandinavia. The original rules have been lost, but modern rules have been developed based on similar games from the era.

There are 25 pieces positioned on a grid. The object is to capture the king.
