This skullcap, called "doppa," is worn by the Uyghur People of western China, next to the border of Uzbekistan. The majority of Uyghurs are Muslim.
Uyghur doppas are round and a soft construction. They bear some resemblance to the skullcaps worn by the Uzbeks.
