Portuguese Display Doll: "Traje de Lavradeira"

This doll represents a woman from the Minho region of Portugal. She is wearing one of the country's national costumes. In Minho, the outfit, called "traje de lavradeira," comes in two versions, red and green.

The red version of the outfit, as seen on this doll, is worn by younger women. The color of the upper part of the bodice describes the version.
